Interpreter Design Pattern Tutorial with Java Code Example for Beginners

Our living history interpreter volunteer, Naomi, tells us about her mock-up for an 18th-century stays pattern. Stays were the supportive undergarments worn by women in the 18th century, providing a sturdy base to pin and support the gown worn over them. Channels, either vertical or angled, are sewn all around the stay. Slim ‘bones’ of reed or whalebone are then slipped into every channel. We hope to see you at Historic London Town and Gardens!
