Singaporean playwright Kuo Pao Kun's The Coffin is Too Big for The Hole was adapted as a site-specific performance in various locations around Publika for the Nyoba Kan Butoh Festival. This was the prologue, performed by Foo Chiwei (actor); Kiea Kuan Nam (masked performer); Mimi Jeong (dancer) and Pedro Simoni (musician). Conceptualised by Foo Chiwei and Lee Swee Keong, this performance gained plenty of attention from people passing by. The beautiful set is an installation art by Julien Brun. |
