Breakfast for Almond! This eastern painted turtle suffered a pretty nasty shell fracture as a result of being hit by a car. Unfortunately, the part of the shell that is missing around her left front leg couldn't be saved. She's been nicknamed Almond, and she's going to be with us over the winter and we will release her in the spring.
