When you have a rear brake rotor that also functions as a drum for the parking brake, removing it can often be challenging. Everyone has their own approach, and here's why I prefer mine. Instead, I choose to shock the rotor off the hub with a couple of hammer strikes. This method, combined with attempting to remove it by hand first, has proven more effective in my circumstances.
