If you’re giving rescue breaths or administering emergency oxygen, the airway must be opened properly for air and oxygen to reach the lungs. When sharing the water with boats, divers should take steps to limit their risk of being struck or run over. Use a dive flag to indicate your position and surface within 15 meters* of it.
