Street dogs are amazing and I am happy to live in a country where dogs aren’t micromanaged. This was in Colombia on a trip, and Neon learned to navigate many situations. This dog was very forward. I don’t force Neon to lay prone in a down or focus on me… super unnnatural behaviors that lead to fear and the inability to communicate. Instead I watch and step in if needed (and it’s almost never needed). I would never go to a country with street dogs and a loose dog culture and bug out about the dog
