Today, as I was hand-knitting my grandson’s blanket, my husband gently pointed out a stitch I had missed. Here’s the part that made me laugh and groan at the same time… the blanket was almost finished. And the mistake? Right near the very beginning. So I sat there for a second, took a deep breath, and then I did the hard thing. I pulled the whole thing apart and started again. And you know what? This version is better. The stitches are tighter. The edges are cleaner. It feels stronger in my hand
