Square Stepping Exercise is intended for older adults, Parkinson’s Stroke, Vestibular disorders, Limb Loss/Amputation for balance and coordination. Just imagine you are stepping over an object as you step forward, sideways and backward. Research has shown that the square-stepping exercises are effective in strength and balance training and can improve cognitive impairment as a result of changing stepping patterns. The exercise could also be more effective than walking programs in reducing falls.
