Sandhill cranes are large, eye-catching birds that also have an amazing migration story. 🗺 This animation shows a birds-eye view of one sandhill crane’s migration using data we received from a GPS device fitted to the crane. The bird traveled from Henrieville, Utah all the way to Socorro, New Mexico within about 24 hours. On its way back north, it left Aranaipa Valley, Arizona and arrived in Green River, Utah about 48 hours later, only stopping twice to rest. 🤯 This is our first installment of
