Need help finding a objects position

Hello Unity people I am new to unity and I can’t figure out how to get an objects position. Originally I created a timer for a block to move side to side but I realized that this doesn’t work the way I wanted it to. So I want to learn how to find an objects position so I can stop it correctly.
